    Reporting directly to Mas' CEO, I drive Mas' growth and diversification efforts by managing teams to design evidence-based training and employment programs. To do so, I utilise my research background to analyse the evidence, my collaborative skills to bring together working groups, and my creativity to design innovative service delivery models. I then manage internal and external stakeholders to write winning tender bids that effectively argue the programs' value. I have also authored investigative reports for the board, responses to government discussion papers, and policies.Recently, I've managed interstate teams to successfully respond to funding opportunities, including expanding to two new states through 2024 AASS Contract Round 8. I also worked on the 2022 Workforce Australia tender round, helping secure 18 new contracts nationally, covering 12 regions in five States and one Territory.

    As Project Officer, I designed and tendered for bespoke employment and training projects based on best practice. These include TRAILS, working with young offenders in South Australia, and SMWE (Supporting Migrant Women into Employment) in New South Wales, with over $10 million in funding secured in this role. I also worked as a secretary for the IntoWork Group's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group, assisting in the RAP process.In this role, I grew Mas' market share in the Department of Employment & Workplace Relations Employment Facilitators market by winning 8 new contracts across Australia.

    I volunteered at Whittlesea's Wills and Wishes clinic, meeting with clients in-person to complete wills, enduring powers of attorney, and medical decision treatment maker forms. To do so often involved undertaking sensitive end-of-life discussions, ensuring my clients were adequately informed and that the relevant documents were expertly drafted for validity. I quickly became familiar with the relevant law and completed complex cases, including wills requiring full language interpreting.The final evaluation from my supervising solictor noted I worked well in a team to produce “work of a very high standard” and “displayed initiative in [my] work, and empathy and patience with clinic clients”.

    While pursuing my Juris Doctor, I served as a Paralegal alongside the new Legal Counsel at IntoWork Group, delivering legal services to a company of over 1,700 staff. Working at a group of 15 companies, ranging from training not-for-profits to private recruiters, the work was diverse and required fast learning.In this capacity, I conducted thorough legal research, collaborated with businesses within the IntoWork Group on legal issues and sought advice, drafted and proofread various correspondences and documents, maintained databases and legal advice, handled administrative tasks such as report writing and managing the Legal Department inbox, assisted in preparing for legal proceedings involving IntoWork and the IntoWork Group, and contributed to the development and monitoring of legal compliance across all businesses within the Group.

    At #MakingItHappen, I consulted and delivered projects for a wide range of not-for-profits, small businesses, and social enterprises. I learnt rapidly and took the lead in preparing grants, business plans, research briefs and other supporting documents. My skills directly delivered over $500,000 in funding through the 2018-19 financial year to dozens of clients, including an agricultural project creating up to 24 jobs. Good communication was important to me, and I regularly met with clients and attended industry events to ensure a consultative approach. Whether it was learning the policy intricacies of the NDIS to converse with sector experts, or taking the initiative to create an effective new information management system, I enjoyed stepping up to new challenges at #MakingItHappen. I regularly worked to high-pressure deadlines and delivered results that led to effusive reviews from our clients. I moved on and remain on great terms with my manager, who has found me hard to replace.

    In 2016, baby bereavement educator Amy Banson began a nationwide tour, ‘Let Me See My Baby’. I was brought into the fold to devise a print and online marketing strategy, attract publicity, and create marketing materials. Although infant loss was a confronting, complex issue and I lacked the resources of a public relations firm, I was excited about the challenge. Beginning with a successful launch at the National Press Club in Canberra, I created engaging content and gained nationwide press attention in national outlets like Mamamia and the ABC. I also secured coverage across state radio stations, both public and commercial, as well as in a range of major newspapers. My work also entailed fixing technical issues, often remotely, and providing research. I concluded my time with Little Silk Wings as the tour wound down.

I also successfully oversaw the IT operations and online marketing for the College’s international rugby tournament. I resolved countless software and hardware issues, advocated for better systems, and mentored younger students to take over my role.
