    Established in 2011, Infinity Films (previously Moebius Films), has to date produced over a hundred hours of scripted drama series for DSTV (South Africa’s premium satellite service). Working across multiple genres we have delved into the vast spectrum of human existence to try and uncover the connections that bind us. Our projects have been well-received by audiences and have also received critical acclaim from multiple institutions. DUTIES AS HEAD WRITER:- Conceptualization and development of new scripted series in both drama and comedy. - Writing proposals, pilots, and sales decks for newly chosen projects.- Liaising with broadcaster once a project has been approved in terms of budgets, script, and story requirements. - Evaluating, selecting, and contracting writers for a new project. - Leading all story sessions, structuring the overall series, creating outlines for writers, editing scripts, and providing feedback to scriptwriters. - Writing individual scripts. - Liaising with all creative departments in production to assist in script breakdowns and filming. DUTIES AS EXECUTIVE PRODUCER- Contract negotiations with broadcasters to finalize production terms and budget. - Drafting, monitoring, and execution of production budgets for each project. - Planning and scheduling each project from pre-production to final delivery. - Appointment and management of key production and creative members of the team. - Casting of talent for each project. - Liaising with director and other key creatives to establish the look and feel of each show. - Daily oversight of shoot during production. - Liaising with the post-production team and overseeing all final elements for delivery. DUTIES AS COMPANY DIRECTOR - Oversee the company finances and administration. - Visit trade shows to establish international connections.- Decide on the creative vision and markets we want to access with future projects.

    I was a scriptwriter for over 200 episodes for the kykNET daily TV soap "Binneland". I also participated in quarterly brainstorm sessions as part of the writers' room to develop new stories and discuss the overall arcs of the story. In my last nine months at the company, I was appointed as script editor for the TV soap. This involved aligning the writers' voices in the different scripts, managing continuity, and checking language and grammar. I delivered six edited scripts per week.
