    In this role, I assisted a New College of Florida Faculty member with the facilitation of a one month group project and certification program. I aided my professor in communication with the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship, which runs the certification component of the program. Additionally, I acted as a mentor for students in the creation of their Sustainable Development Action Plans as they investigated ways to positively impact campus systems of food, energy, and resource access. I hosted regular meetings and checked up on students during this process. During meeting times, I provided helpful on-campus connections and guided students through this process. In my communications with the FES, I worked to understand the organization of the program so that I might better help students throughout the program.
