    Global Holiday Traditions is designed as a website which provides information on 300 holidays in 50 countries and 10 major religions. These holy days or holidays include Chanukah from the Jewish faith, Samhain from the Wiccan or pagan. beliefs, American Indian Cultures, Islamic, Hindu and Oriental faiths. Whether Christmas, Easter, veterans on Memorial or Veteran’s Day, July 4th or mom or dad on their special days this site all are respected. This is true for not only those of the US, but is always adding items for the holidays of other countries. It is the goal of www.globalholidaytraditions.com to provide the appropriate special decoration or gift. The site provides unique products that are multi-national, multi-faith, and multi-cultural. As the customer support manager I have the privilege of working with both the product providers, whether manufacturer or distributor and the customers on the site. Customers report using Global Holiday Traditions while sitting at home in the middle of the night shopping while wearing their jammies, sitting at your desk or any time they choose to shop. My job is to provide that customer support in finding the gift, answering any questions and being the liaison that can solve any problem that may occur and search for those items desired, but not listed. Global Holiday Traditions and Send Out Cards are both beneficial to the handicapped, young mother’s or father’s up with a young baby late at night.     Creative Pen Writings was another position that proved to be both fun and challenging. I supported my daughter and myself as a calligrapher and sign painter. Perfection in pen strokes is imperative and understanding the structure of the alphabet and individual letter came from hours of practice – a minimum of 40 in each size before releasing any piece in a new alphabet or size. Brush strokes came later and were far more difficult to learn. Not long ago I drove through the small town in northern Missouri where most of the signs were painted. That was rewarding since several of the signs were still on storefronts 20 years later.

    Asplundh Tree Expert Co. was a fun job as my husband and I worked a bucket truck in west Texas under contract to West Texas Utilities. When we started I couldn’t even get on the headache rack to take up a tool when he needed it. Talk about acrophobia! After several months I was working in the bucket, 60 feet in the air moving in and out of the live power lines and cutting the limbs, freeing the lines to provide power during storms. We were the first crew to work in Abilene that never dropped a line. Previous crews needed a WTU truck to follow them and put the lines back up. I even worked so late in my pregnancy that I would have been in the bucket after lunch when I went into labor had it not been a rare rainy day.
