    Lead a cross functional team of professional analysts in an innovative approach to provide support to The CalSTRS Benefits and Services Branch during high volume cyclical peak workload periods. My team provided support to five different divisions as a solution to a reduction in temporary resources. I built the team from the ground up. Recruiting eight strong analytical staff who could be depended on to be fast learners, highly productive, and who had the ability to retain a wide range of business process knowledge. I developed a strong training plan in collaboration with the various business areas; worked closely with the Directors of each division to ensure I had a pulse on their various business needs and to be aware of when my team could jump in and provide the necessary support.I reported directly to the Executive Officer as well as rotated among the various Directors within the branch requiring adaptability and flexibility.
