    I was responsible for the Interlibrary Loans Service. I have used Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD) subsystem to locate books that have been requested. I regularly checked LADD to see if other libraries request items from the Brotherhood Information Service. I also use GratisNet, LADD and various universities to obtain journal articles.I have catalogued selected library materials (both electronic and hardcopy versions) within the broad guidelines of AACR2 using DDC Classification and LCSH subject headings and thesaurus based keywords.I was also responsible for the acquisition of new monographs using library agents such as Fishpond, the Book Depository, OECD, and DA Information Services. I place the book orders onto the order subsystem of Inmagic Genie.I have performed literature searches using Inmagic Genie as well as searched external databases such as Libraries Australia, Informit, the Internet, and Infotrieve. I have contributed material to the Brotherhood Information Centre’s current awareness portal BROcap.I supervised volunteers recruited to assist with cataloguing.I have worked as the liaison librarian to the Brotherhood’s climate change group. The Brotherhood of St Laurence has been a leading voice calling for protection of low-income and disadvantaged Australians from the effects of, and the responses to climate change. I also have been responsible for the journal subscriptions – ensuring that the subscriptions are paid on time. My responsibility was for maintaining the journals database with subscription information and new/cancelled journal details.
