    Penmanship and lettering have been an enjoyment of mine since I can remember and in my teenage years, I started practicing calligraphy. From high school through college and up until I started my family, I worked for 13 years at a custom picture framing studio that specialized in museum quality framing. While using my design skills as a custom picture framer, I also had many opportunities to do calligraphy both for the studio and their customers. Some of the types of calligraphy work I have done and do include calligraphy on matting, addressing special occasion envelopes, wedding needs, invitations, certificates, signs, birth announcements, poems, song lyrics, scripture verses and other custom jobs.
