Hired to strengthen company’s image across 1,000+ employee North/South America region and enable stakeholders to execute informed decisions by communicating company direction, change management, goals, performance results, and safety. Reversed negative reporting about company to positive commentaries and strategically positioned company with news media by improving relationship with reporter, conducting media training with all plant managers, and writing compelling media releases. Maintained continuity in organization while overseeing on-time relocation of sales office from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati (14 employees) and relocation of customer service, IT, and logistics departments (20 employees) from VT to Cincinnati. Handled all aspects of terminating self-directed/frozen pension plan (134 participants, $50M), including correspondence, pay out to individual, roll over into another pension fund and new annuity account. Assisted VP of HR in finding new insurance company to purchase those participants who wished to stay with their annuity ($23M). Distributed all funds as requested without error and on time.

Helped develop NS Group’s initial website and worked with web designer after site was launched to establish it as more user friendly. Piloted intense investor relations program that took company’s stock from $22/share to $44/share (company was ultimately sold for $66/share). Company was sold for $1.5B (ten times its value when change in management took place in 1999).
