    - To attend the tender interview to clarify the terms and pricing of tenders;- Review costing, build-up rate prepared by the PQS;- Ensure Variation Orders are in line with approved budgets (CCF);- To prepare preliminary estimate and Cost plan;- Preparation letter of confirmation and/or letter of award and letter of nomination or work order when necessary and ensure timely award and contract binding.- To ensure proper preparation of Bills of Quantities from Senior QS;- To ensure timely evaluation of Final Account/Valuation of VO & PS up-to-date.- To ensure proper evaluation and certification of progress claims, variation orders and final account from Senior QS.- Carry out quantity checks and rate discussion to establish the accuracy of all measurements and the validity and reasonableness of all rates applied;- To ensure the payment certificate and variation orders are issued in a timely manner and to take corrective measures in ensuring no cost overruns occur.- To assist in providing internal form/ approval to Top Management on all contractual matters relating to Projects;- Interact with Project Team and consultant on cost relating matters; and- To help and handle any ad-hoc assignment as and when required by the Management.
