Established in 2020, Tokoro's maiden fund (TKO-I LP) successfully raised €200m in equity, which has provided c.€500m of deployable capital, the primary target of which is prime European office space.My role at Tokoro is best described as a "middle office" role, involving the management of the typical "back office" outsourced corporate/fund accounting functions and tax, whilst also being actively involved in "front office" asset & portfolio management and evaluation of ongoing transactions.Key responsibilities include:- Oversight and review of outsourced financial reporting and administration in various jurisdictions, including: tax reporting, quarterly reporting packs, annual accounts and investor reporting.- Collaboration with investment analysts and senior management to support the evaluation and acquisition process, including running scenario analysis on individual deal models and the resulting impacts on wider portfolio model returns/cashflows.- Submission of quarterly bank reporting (compliance certificates, debt covenants).- Variance analysis on quarterly actual results versus budget.- Assistance with tax structuring, KYC and compliance of new deals.- Running monthly asset management meetings on existing assets.- Calculation of asset management and development fees.- Lead firm effort to achieve various ESG accreditations, such as GRESB, B Corp etc.
