Customer centric benefits ninja seeking a senior level benefits specialist position that will champion health and welfare benefits and retirement plans. I come loaded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a can-do anything attitude.Responsibilities include:• Administer, process, maintain company benefit programs including health & welfare plans, short and long-term disability, 401k, Flex Spending Accounts, COBRA, and leaves of absences.• Primary escalation point of contact for health and welfare benefits • Manage all benefits self-billing processes to include reconciling of coverage and updates to the workbook as plan design changes • Reconcile vendor invoices for payment by verifying employee enrollment and invoices match• Manage sensitive topics with a high level of customer service (death claims, retirement plans)• Manage relationship with third party benefits administrators, Empyrean• Troubleshoot eligibility errors with vendors, benefits administrators and HRIS• Work with vendors, brokers, and internal customers on management of benefit plans.• Test employee self-service benefits administration site to ensure plan changes were properly configured• Edit and finalize benefits related communications and materials for New Hires, Open Enrollment, etc• Identify and implement process optimization opportunities for all health and welfare benefits• Managed and established processes for large company events• Manage various compliance projects
