Notably I overhauled its Stripe-integrated payment system and spearheaded an effort to upgrade the agent to Meteor 3 by removing Node Fibers and implementing Async Hooks and Async Local Storage.

    I joined Pathable right before the pandemic, and worked there in a pivotal moment, where we switched to virtual events powered by a Zoom integration, and experienced accelerated growth and soon the acquisition of the company by Community Brands.I have worked in all parts of the platform, from implementing internal Meteor libraries, refactoring and optimizing legacy code, to implementing awesome new features, and playing a key part in the migration to virtual events itself. I notably improved the performance of our highly customizable campaign system at least 100x and implemented a cloning system which allowed existing clients to effortlessly reuse their existing assets.Other experiences:- Implemented several data-related optimizations, including a query builder mixin that automatically adjusted queries to the best indexing strategy, accommodating the platform's heavily customizable nature.- Initiated and oversaw the redesign of the platform's core feature, the agenda system, improving its simplicity and reliability.- Led the implementation of an On Call initiative during the pandemic, to make sure our operations ran as smoothly as possible while making sure some our key people didn't get burned out.As technology we used mostly Node, Meteor, React, MongoDB, Jenkins, AWS, Elasticsearch and Cypress.

    I was responsible for implementing and maintaining features and keep overall system integrity in an ERP management system, working mainly in raw PHP/PostgreSQL; I bootstrapped a Vue library for my team, which was necessary to keep UI consistency and allow future modernizations, and made huge optimizations to their database, notably improving their audit system performance 14x for every write request by enforcing conventions and trigger optimizations.There I started using Node.js as a development tool and then for some services, and I fell in love with it. I also used Python for some AWS Lambda functions.
