Primary responsibility was to investigate National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Office of Defect Investigations (ODI) vehicle defect allegations, all New Car Assessment Programs (NCAP) document preparation and Vehicle Compliance responses made to NHTSA. The ODI allegations were thoroughly investigated by my office and written responses were prepared and provided to the NHTSA in response to the defect allegation petitions. I was the sole author of all PE and EA responses (>95) as well as the originator of all Vehicle Compliance document submissions pertaining to NHTSA verifications of Chrysler's compliance of FMVSS requirements. In addition, I was responsible for document submissions for all New Car Assessment Programs (NCAP). I was promoted twice within this position.

As a Commodity Manager I was responsible for all commercial and supplier quality aspects of supplier relations. The inflatable restraints buy comprised the largest buyer deck within the interior trim department at that time. In addition, the Commodity Manager was required to create and implement 5 year sourcing strategies. In this position I submitted on excess of $50M worth of cost reduction and technical improvements ideas in one year.
