    SIG Combibloc is one of the world's leading system suppliers of carton packaging and filling machines for beverages and food. The company supplies complete systems including both the packaging materials and the corresponding filling machines. My main function as a GSP Engineer is to provide support for all cluster around the world by doing installation, commissioning, machine upgrades, and troubleshooting of filling machines in general.Update: Due to work visa issues between China and Philippines government on 2014, I was transfered to SIG Combibloc Thailand (up to present) as a System Specialist handling only Asia Pacific region with almost same work and function as when I am in SIG Global Service Pool.

    Performancepaper is a manufacturing firm dealing with production of saturated paper. It was established here in China on May 2004. My main work was focused on the designed and installation of control system for our existing lines. This line was dismantled in the US and was sent in China for installation. Only provided with a single mechanical drawing (no electrical drawings) from Black Clawson Machinery as a guide, the tension system, plc, drive, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control system I designed myself. Using only available local drives, PLC, and some known drive (SSD 590+ drives) for critical section of the machine (saturation and winders), the line is running now at 250 m/m, the original machine designs runs at 200 m/m. The tension system is very stable. The total length of the machine is 42.7 meters. I was also involved in the actual production run, and product development of the company. As of year 2014, the company is still selling their products abroad with a very high acceptance level of our customer using the only machine/converting/lamination line that I basically designed, assembled, and commission myself.
