    I repair and restore antique furniture, specializing in old picture frames. My first piece was an upright piano. Scouring garage and estate sales for vintage anything, including pieces for my new interest in upcycling, also known as salvage art, repurposing or shabby chic, my life is filled with finding and giving new life to wonderful items. My degree in art, especially painting, sculpture and design, as well as a natural ability to see and create on my own, all benefit my business and add great joy to my life. I also love to landscape, especially working with stone.

    I helped farm, harvest, and run equipment to produce corn silage for our beef cattle business. I partnered in a successful beef marketing business, supplying thousands of head of market-ready fed cattle to packers, and that product finally entered the main consumer venues, especially fine restaurants. Every aspect of beef production, from beginning to end, was my life for 33 years. There was no aspect of production I did not experience. I am very proud of this achievement.
