I have always loved painting and sculpture and I've combined these art forms with my Interior Designer's love of textiles into mixed media pieces that I call "Boxes with Holes". I like to show an interplay between the rigid, static boxes and the choas and randomness of the textiles which are interwoven between and through them. The viewer is invited to follow the paths of fabrics and threads as they frolic. The boxes offer stability.
