    The mission of ArchCare is to foster and provide holistic care to sick and elderly people unable to fully care for themselves. Through shared commitments, ArchCare seeks to improve the quality of the lives of those individuals and their families. In my position, I protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained. I review records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. As well as retrieve patient medical records for physicians, technicians, or other medical personnel.

    Young Adult Borough Centers (YABC’s) are evening academic programs designed for high school students who are behind in credit, considering dropping out, or can’t attend school because of adult responsibilities in the daytime. In my occupancy I provided students with alternatives on resolving conflict by conducting mediation and conflict resolution sessions to avoid physical and verbal altercations. I kept monthly files of student’s progression within the program, as well as kept organized and efficient files of student’s personal data. I frequently counseled students on a one-to-one basis to let them express their emotions and help them get to a level headed state of mind. I also did parent outreach to keep parents updated on the student’s well being and progression within the program.
