I was headed by technical and operational project team to implement USD On-line. The USD On-line is a domestic interbank USD fund transfer system implemented to send and receive USD transactions on the same business day. The project was successfully launched in July 2015.I was headed operations team to implement the CITS Online Image Transfer Solution project, which was implemented to fully online LKR cheque clearing operations. The project enabled all participating banks to submit the cheque images data of physical cheques through secured virtual private network. System allows the participating banks to upload large volumes of cheques (in batches) and initiate their clearing almost immediately. The project was successfully gone live in October 2016 achieving a remarkable milestone.Lead the internal audit team and report internal audit findings for preventive and corrective action, and review the implementation of corrective actions.

The new technology adoption was challenged by the banks and amid many obstacles the system went live in December 2006 achieving a remarkable milestone.I performed this role during a particularly challenging period for LankaPay as the team had to introduce a new clearing mechanism to all commercial banks in Sri Lanka while many of them were highly resistant to change in adopting this technology. However, my commitment and hard work for the success of the project was recognized by LankaClear management and I was promoted to the next level.
