      My role as a Group Marketing Statistician at the Vineyard Hotel & Spa, encompassed many things. This is a small, in-house marketing department of 5 people who are in charge of the marketing for 3 hotels. My primary functions were to provide our sales reps, marketing executive and directors with monthly statistics on the various "regions" in which we operate. I also assisted them with any information they needed on a daily basis. I assisted our marketing executive in making tactical decisions by providing him with various reports and analysis on the business throughout the 3 hotels. This included measuring the performance of our sales reps and looking at the growth of the business and various clients. I was in charge of the database for all 3 hotels which included the development and implementation of the database strategy, managing and training the teams that enter data as well as reporting to the General Managers and Directors on the success of the database. Due to the fact that this is a small department, I took on various design and advertising roles. These included assisting with and planning the photo shoots at each hotel, design (Indesign, Photoshop), concept and copy of various marketing collateral (cd’s, brochures, gifting), designing sales and marketing presentations for our sales reps (using Powerpoint). I was required to create, as well as present, various presentations on the figures of the business as well as on the database. These presentations were presented to the Marketing team, the directors, the hotel general managers as well as the staff in need of training.
