    I volunteered weekly with Brendoncare, where I helped at a local wellbeing group for the elderly. This consisted of assisting everybody as well as organise and lead group activities. During my time, I learned how to communicate effectively in different circumstances, as the club is for elderly members who all have varying standards of hearing and understanding so it is important to cater towards each person's need. During the pandemic, I was responsible for making calls to some of the club members to check up on how they were doing and if they needed any support, directing them to the right services if necessary.
