Designed from inception to mass production many successful products including simulations, transducer and enclosure design, tuning and voicing systems, testing and final acoustic approval. Working closely with Quality Department, testing and writing Quality test procedures.Involved extensively with cost reductions while maintaining sound quality.Designed a semi-anechoic chamber for use by our entire acoustic engineering department. Implemented loudspeaker and headphone test equipment.Built and tested prototypes ending up in product development.Utilizing computer aided programs including L.E.A.P. Enclosure and Crossover shop, LMS, MLSSA, TEF, D.A.A.S, EASE and Audio Precision. Designed the first to market, cutting edge speaker system for the Apple iPod, and many more portable audio systems in the inMotion line.Designed the FX-6021, a line array with optimum spaced drivers to steer the verticals, while opening the horizontal dispersion, at the same time gaining more Omni directivity at higher frequencies. I have a patent on this design involving a minimum number of radiating elements.Worked directly with THX developing their specs for multi media. This resulted in the ADA-880, the first multi media product that met with THX approval.Designed the ADA-995, a 5.1 multimedia system for Dell. I worked closely with THX to successfully acquire their acoustic approval for this system.Designed the FX-5021, a 2.1 THX approved system. Brought back the Altec Lansing Voice of The Theatre A7, keeping it as the original, Made in The USA. I first hand managed all of the logistics for sales and manufacturing, even traveling to a customers home to ensure proper set up.I have worked with my team to produce over 50 products in the marketplace. My experience has allowed me to design many products with strict cost restraints, while still gaining great product reviews in the industry.
