    I work closely with the Executive Director and Marketing & Memberships Director to implement Capital Region USA's Marketing Plan and achieve our objective of increasing overseas travel from our target markets to the region. Responsibilities/Experience includes:TOUR MANAGEMENT● Manage itinerary development for trade and media familiarization tours with partners, suppliers and overseas representatives● Contract transportation services to ensure best pricing, quality, and reliability● Track in-kind value for all complimentary or discounted familiarization tour componentsSALES● Assist in the development and execution of sales activities, including trade shows, sales missions, promotions, and receptive and tour operator marketing ● Create and maintain CRM database of more than 4,000 entries ● Respond to and distribute qualified sales leadsADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT● Collect and aggregate monthly progress report data from overseas target markets ● Draft requests for proposals and distribute to qualified bidders● Assist in the organization of meetings, retreats, and conferences for as many as 400 attendees – including eBlasts, registration, badges, speakers, schedule, room blocks, catering, A/V needs and follow up● Assist with digital marketing including website, email marketing programs, social media, and paid media● Maintain and update industry email databaseFINANCIAL MANAGEMENT● Coordinate invoicing and monitor account receivables● Process reimbursements from federal or other grant programs and file quarterly reports as required● Liaise with auditor to provide financial documentation and clarification for annual audit
