As a Specialist Journalist at the South African Broadcasting Corporation's Parliamentary bureau, I covered politics, economics and socio-economic issues for national television news broadcasts and current affairs programmes. I also frequently travelled on assignment to countries across four continents. I have interviewed Heads of State of various countries, as well as leaders in the UN, WTO, World Bank and IMF, leading activists and academics.I anchored the President's State of the Nation and annual Budget speech live broadcasts on SABC 2, as well as broadcasts of general elections and other key events.I moderated panel discussions, debates and workshops at the World Economic Forum on Africa.During my time as Parliamentary Editor, I managed a team of radio and television journalists and camera and editing crew.
