A collaboration between the newly-opened Grand Hyatt Kuwait and owning company Tamdeen Group, the Management Training Program is designed as an 18-month program whereby participants will spend 12 months circulating through different departments within the hotel, culminating with a six-month specialization in one department as the participant is prepared for a role in hospitality management. This program is an initiative to introduce Kuwaiti talent to the world of hospitality, and to gain valuable experience working with a premier player in Kuwait’s real estate and development realm, a respected luxury brand and a major international company.As the first participant of this program, I am honored to join this spectacular property and the handpicked team behind it as the unveiling of the most anticipated hotel opening in Kuwait manifests into reality, and delivering the promise of an unprecedented luxury experience in the country. Through a tailored schedule, I will be spending several weeks/months in all hotel departments including Sales & Marketing, Rooms (Front Office, Noor Spa, Housekeeping & Laundry, Security), Human Resources, Event Planning & Operations, Food & Beverage and Engineering/Maintenance.By virtue of my prior professional experience and on-property initiatives, as well as my passion for and knowledge of the hospitality industry, I concluded my Management Internship several months ahead of schedule at the end of April 2023.
