This program has grown rapidly and is now being used as a model for statewide expansion. TLO's are a very important component for response agencies that support operations in the area of homeland security.

Served as the primary Battelle point of contact with FEMA and was also responsible for Emergency Preparedness and Response related activities with state and local jurisdictions.

Served as an advocate to assist defense industry and veteran constituencies with issue related problems. Expanded job duties include coordination of Homeland Security initiatives and other activities as related to Ohio specific interests. In addition, assisted with forming policy decisions related to public safety issues and also participated in formalizing proposed legislation for introduction in the United States Senate.
