We specialized in manufacturing of Models, Block moulds and resin cases for the sanitaryware industry. Managing, Designing and Engineering of new products for Pressure Casting, Beam or Battery Casting systems from concept design to industrialisation, liaising closely with our clients NPD Department for smooth implementation and All new products were specified and built to either British, NF and Kiwa specification standards inline with the customers requirements. Customer base included Porvair Ceramics, Ideal Standard, Twyford Bathrooms, Heritage Bathrooms, Imperial Bathrooms, Lefroy Brookes, Shires, Shaws of Darwen, Barrhead Ceramics, and Lecico Egypt. The last 18 months had additionally been spent providing on-site NPD consultancy to Lecico Egypt, Responsibilities included, industrialisation of new products already in development, Re-engineering of existing products for yield improvement purposes, remodelling a number of current production closets to facilitate water saving 4ltr flushing, outlining possible production process improvements, mentoring and highlighting training opportunities and improvements for NPD personnel.

As a consultant my role included identifying process improvements opportunities of existing products across the factory, improving factory yield and costs and through new process implementation and training, reducing timescales.I also managed the introduction of a number of new designs, models and blocks which involved implementing modelling and blocking training and scheduling with the objective to reduce industrialization lead times and RFT.
