Served in various positions of increased responsibility while in the U.S Army for ten years. Some major assignments included: Responsible for the development of the preliminary test program for the $395 million Follow-On To TOW (FOTT) Army weapon system program. Planned, coordinated, conducted and reported all test activities in support of the program. My application of analytical methods and procedures utilizing the Taguchi design of experiment techniques in the development of the FOTT missile test program resulted in an estimated $10 million in program savings. Commanded a 140-person Armored Cavalry Troop and was accountable for personnel, training, operations, and administrative functions in the conduct of armored cavalry and combined arms operations.
