I supervised and worked on a diverse set of projects during my career at the FTC. These included work on investigations and enforcement actions, designing remedies for antitrust violations, enforcing FTC orders, researching the effectiveness of FTC orders, researching and drafting legislative proposals concerning a variety of antitrust issues, and drafting premerger notification regulations.

I undertook a variety of projects to help the KPPU to implement its then new competition law. My responsibilities included work on developing investigation and decision procedures for the agency, helping to negotiate judicial review procedures with the Indonesian Supreme Court, advising the agency about ongoing investigations, providing a three month course to train the staff in competition law concepts, speaking to groups of Indonesian judges and lawyers about the requirements of the competition law, and working on international presentations by Commissioners about the Indonesian law.

I taught a wide variety of courses in the law school, including torts, administrative law, corporations, and employment discrimination. During my time at the law school I coauthored two casebooks and wrote several law review articles. I was chairman of several law school committees and the law school representative to the university's Faculty Senate. I have also taught at other American and foreign universities.
