    I am delighted to be able to help out the wonderful team at MINDWAVE in their mission to improve people's lives through innovative digital health products and services. I was lucky to be invited by founder Kumar Jacob MBE to be part of the early thinking and formation of the company back in 2014/15 and to take a small shareholding. The company has grown from strength to strength since then and in 2021 I came on board on a part-time basis to provide some additional capacity to the Directors. I help bring forward some of their ideas and undertake tasks that they otherwise struggle to find time for - particularly around corporate governance. Its been a great experience and rewarding to be part of something that is helping improve people's lives.

    Thanks to its founders, I was given the extraordinary opportunity to become Development Director at MacDonald Egan and, with special thanks to founder Colm Egan, to spend my last year with the privilege of being Managing Director whilst he was Chair. We had a development programme of over 30 sites (c.1000 homes plus a commerical property portfolio) in SE London at various stages of acquisition, planning, construction, sale or management. The company had a reputation for its exemplary planning process and design quality - working with leading architects of the time such as Farrells, AHMM, Duggan Morris, Hawkins/Brown, John MacAslan and more. In my time as MD I helped form the construction arm to the business 'MEC'.It was an amazing experience and a game-changer for me. It re-shaped the way I understand and think about ideas and bringing forward business opportunities. Although not my first business, it helped me appreciate truly how different it is to be be a client and employer rather than a consultant or employee. I am forever grateful to Colm for the belief he had in me.
