The work of Dr. John Weisz at the Harvard Laboratory for Youth Mental Health focuses on creating and implementing evidence-based mental health treatments for children and adolescents. I am currently the project coordinator for the CARES Project, which investigates the effectiveness of the MATCH (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children) treatment protocol on mental health and academic outcomes for students receiving counseling services in Boston area public schools.Role:➢Coordinate a randomized controlled effectiveness trial of integrative mental health services for children ages 7-14➢Train research assistants in clinical interviewing and safety assessment procedures➢Assist with school counselor training in a CBT-based treatment protocol and ongoing case consultation for counselors working with students enrolled in the study
