I set up my own practice in 1988 specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. I had also dealt with liquor licensing work for several years and was selected to look after the licensing work for the major plc for their premises in the north of England. This resulted in the setting up of a dedicated liquor licensing department comprising of three partners and support staff. This continued for several years and our firm is still recognised as a specialist advisor in liquor licensing law. Our clinical negligence department is one of the leading claimant firms in the north east of England and assists clients with claims ranging in value from one thousand pounds to £10 million. We also advise a significant number of local commercial property clients.
