Grant funded position ending on 12/31/21.Developing and implementing a community needs assessment to address the following objectives: Recruited participants for a qualitative online survey and in-person qualitative interviews, including staff from local domestic violence agencies, including management and frontline staff, as well as clients who are willing to participate.Evaluation of skills and training needs of staff at every level of local DV agencies. Review of current policies, procedures, and gaps at all dv agencies that address how to identify, respond to, and support people who have experienced domestic violence. Provide recommendations on how to improve policies and practices based on the data. Help develop standards of operation for DV service providers across Erie County. Identify opportunities for collaboration and cross-training between DV agencies, as well as potential barriers for adopting organization changes.
