    Managing the product development team of Pioneer Worldwide, developing trend conscious Microfoil®, Bubble® and Qualatex latex designs for Seasonal celebrations such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Graduation, Halloween, Christmas & NewYear's. Kathy directed the design of marketing materials, both printed and internet, to support the launch and ongoing seasonal sales period for each of these special occasions. The seasonal plan took advantage of Pioneer's marketing muscle by featuring new products in trade publications, as well as in the company's own magazines & website, and with social media marketing.

    In 1985 Kathy established a Creative Design and Editorial department to service all the needs of Pioneer Balloon Company as it was growing rapidly, expanding sales & marketing, plus warehouse & production locations around the world. The Creative Design group produced all latex & Microfoil® product under the primary brand name Qualatex®, as well as all marketing materials including trade advertising, a bi-monthly trade magazine, a quarterly magazine for balloon entertainers, and all Qualatex® product packaging and P.O.P. Annual Tradeshow booth design and signage was also executed by Pioneer Creative group for New York Stationery Show, Chicago Halloween & Party Show, SuperFloral Show and a variety of other tradeshows each year. Pioneer Balloon Company is respected in the balloon industry for its commitment to education. Balloon retail businesses learn from Pioneer's educational programs, the importance of creativity partnered with best business practices. From 1985 to the present, Pioneer's Creative Design group and expanded Marketing Communications group are both considered to be "The Very Best" in the balloon industry. Pioneer Balloon Company is now Pioneer Worldwide.
