Established flexibly-scheduled, fully-integrated Library Media Program for 750 students and 77 staff in a new Gr. 5-8 Middle School. Services offered included reading incentive programs, reading guidance, authentic research projects, information management and literacy instruction, authentic assessment, collaboration with teaching teams to develop meaningful projects, museum projects, the NMSA Award-Winning Project Preserve: Local History project for 8th graders featuring community involvement, the development of a "Tech Wizards" team of student technology assistants for teaching teams, and a "Library Pages" program for students to volunteer in the library.
