I designed a behavioral assay used to test for differences in color discrimination and perception under varying conditions of habitat light. The results from this experiment were used to infer the ecological characteristics that influence dewlap color diversity in Anolis sagrei lizards. The results of this research were published in 2020.

We used different behavioral assays to test Anolis Sagrei lizards for evidence of varying degrees of photoreceptor noise under different lighting conditions as well as variations in color perception under different light conditions. We also explored the visual cues that Anoles take into account when choosing between different habitats.
