    -Lead all UX research efforts as part of our Research and Design (RAD) team, supporting several crossdisciplinary teams across Flipp with a focus on our B2C app experience.-Have designed and led initiatives including internal testing and dogfooding, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, diary studies, user interviews, concept testing, and more. -Provide ad hoc support to product designers in leading their own usability testing. -Supported foundational work on our team including segmentation and developing new market personas, jobs-to-be-done, and user journeys. Part of this work included presenting these new artifacts to the whole Product org and leading smaller team-level workshops to engage with the new personas and journeys.

    -Acted as the project manager for a client survey with family planning patients across three states. This large-scale quantitative longitudinal study examined access to publicly funded family planning services.-Supervised a team of 5-6 research assistants to coordinate with dozens of family planning clinics across the country to field our tablet-based survey. -Traveled to conduct fieldwork visits and worked in clinic waiting rooms to recruit survey participants.-Involved in every step of the research process including the design and piloting of the survey instruments, outreach and collaboration with clinics and external partners, managing our research team, preparing materials for submission to our IRB, and data management and analysis. -Led usability testing of our survey when we migrated from paper to tablets & migrated to a new survey software. Used approaches like the Think Aloud method to elicit feedback about user experience navigating our tablet-based survey. -Led pilot testing of our surveys several times to gather feedback about the clarity of our survey questions and made recommendations for revisions to the instrument based on data collection. -Was a member of the project team for the longitudinal qualitative component of the same project, conducting in-depth interviews with repeat participants about their experiences accessing health services. -Piloted and provided feedback on the qualitative interview guide, conducted in-depth interviews, and conducted qualitative analysis in NVivo.

    -Responsible for coordinating two large-scale quantitative surveys with medical applicants and students, including the AFMC Graduation Questionnaire (AFMC GQ) for graduating MD students across Canada. -This nationwide survey with nearly 3000 eligible participants required collaboration with representatives at all seventeen faculties of medicine across Canada. I built and maintained strong relationships with partners at our faculties and other stakeholder organizations, and coordinated the design, data collection, processing, and reporting of this questionnaire on an annual basis. -Oversaw the preparation of a variety of research-based communications, including national and faculty-level reports, methodological notes, study protocols, office manuals, meeting agendas and summaries, and presentations. -Actively involved with the development of a new suite of longitudinal questionnaires that aims to better understand our medical students, residents, and physicians over the long-term. I coordinated a nationwide environmental scan with our stakeholders, wrote a summary report of our findings, and developed a project plan and budget for the proposed project. -Developed preliminary survey instruments for three different surveys to be administered throughout the MD program.

    -Led a multi-methods reproductive health needs assessment among the Rohingya refugee population residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Largely living as undocumented refugees in Kuala Lumpur and other urban centers, the Rohingya generally have poor access to health services but little is known about their access to and experiences with reproductive health services living in Malaysia. -Using an ethnographic lens, our study team aimed to explore the status of maternal and reproductive health among Rohingya women and girls. -Conducted focus group discussions with Rohingya women and key informants interviews to explore access to maternal-child health services, contraception and family planning, abortion, and experiences with early marriage and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).
