My recent assignment as G M AM-Zone Intl Pvt Ltd., I was solely instrumental in setting-up Indian a JV in Bangalore. With support from the management, we have penetrated the Indian market. Ports, Offshore contractors & other end-users have been targeted extensively. Dealer network in Southern Indian states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu set-up successfully. Presently working on developing UHMWPE (equivalent to Dyneema) ropes, in our present territory.

Being Sole distribuotors for Usha Martin ropes, I was responsible for effectively Marketing of Wire ropes, Polypropylene ropes, Nylon ropes and many other items related to Shipping lines, On-Shore & Off-Shore Drilling, Rigging, Crane operation spares etc. I was responsible for Dubai and Sharjah with their adjoining areas. Formulating mktg. Strategies their effective and foolproof implementation, target achievement are some of the initial duties which has been bestowed upon me. I was solely responsible for the introduction of Uni-Ropes and P.P. Polyester Ropes in the company. Stocking of Higher Dia ropes with longer lengths and Mooring ropes with custom made lengths were also the result of my long-term planning in the company. The sale at the time of my joining of the company was around Dhs. 3,00,000 to Dhs. 3,50,000. Due to my initiative and with effective co-operation from the colleagues we could raise the sale to Dhs. 10,00,000 (p.m.) and now Al-Areen can boast of having variety of stock at its disposal. My effort in channeling their resources towards its right path has been benefitial to the company.
