Negotiate the clients’ rates and tariff sheets, ensuring that BPL is receiving adequate returns for work performed.-Facilitate discrepancies between the client and BPL/Panalpina and resolve these discrepancies where possible and where you have the authority, and, if not resolved, raise the discrepancy and possible solution to the next level for resolution.-Meet with the client on a regular basis and ensure the business units call frequency is of a high standard.-Consult with Credit Management with regards to the clients’ financial standing, credit facilities, payments and shareholder information.-Lead a team of resources, multi skilled where necessary, in compiling and presenting proposals/tenders.-Liaise, where necessary, with third party contractors/suppliers on client related issues-Have sufficient technological skills to investigate and draw information from the BPL systems on the business units clients list
