Acting Business Development Officer- Arts, Education, Law Group Griffith University was the Principal Partner for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Dedicated Memorial Committee Queensland, working to develop and raise funding needed to erect a permanent memorial in Anzac Square. http://atsidmcq.com/ My work included research and outreach to potential corporate donors, working closely with key Griffith staff and ATSIDMCQ members, coordinating events at the Museum of Brisbane where the short-listed memorial designs were on display, and developing and writing collateral and other outreach materials.

DCTV is the most honored independent nonprofit media center in America. Their youth media program, PRO-TV, is the most successful youth media arts training program in the U.S. Along with significantly increasing existing and establishing major new funding streams for PRO-TV, my work generated over $1.2 million in capital grants that provided the seed funding for the creation of the DCTV Cinema, a year-round venue devoted to “all documentaries/ all the time.”

Wall Street Rising was founded as a response to the September 11th attacks on Lower Manhattan and focused on creating many ambitious projects to encourage people back downtown and promote the area as a 24/7 community. Working hand-in-hand with the organisation's founder/ managing director in its start up year, I oversaw and met major fundraising goals by engaging with government agencies, trusts and foundations, the private sector and the public to maximize programmtic success. I directed the creative and logistical elements of acclaimed community engagement programs and events such as: Taste of Wall Street, Do It Downtown, and Art Downtown.

As a key member of a dynamic team, I developed and brokered vendor relationships and costs for the complex 800+ VIP Guest gift program; wrote the comprehensive guest guide book; and coordinated dining and other excursions at many of Sydney's top destinations.
