The Catalyst Training Academy (defunct) was a centralized source for information, training and technical assistance in a variety of disciplines essential to the community development process. Catalyst provided customized support to existing community based nonprofit organizations, individuals or organizations starting a business or community development nonprofit, local governments and for-profit community developers to develop and define there needs. Customized technical assistance was then delivered via one-on-one consultations, onsite visits, field workshops and classroom trainings.Responsible for program development, identification of community development funding resources, strategic planning and administration of a training program directed to improve the quality of life of communities and enhance community building capacity.
