    Access One Scaffolding is a medium sized Scaffolding Hire company in Mt Wellington with branches also in Hamilton. Catering from dealing with large companies to individuals that require scaffolding for anything from scaffolding for whole buildings or just a small mobile to repair that broken window or guttering. My role is running the branches from Head Office in Auckland, controlling Debtors, creditors, all on hire and off hire agreements, procurement of raw materials, PPE gear, assisting with Health and Safety requirements.Last year we switched to Xero for our accounting purposes linking in with Geo-op and Easy Forms for our job costing and quoting so far this is progressing well - with the total integration into the trucks still to be completed. The switch from MYOB to Xero was relatively smooth sailing, but there have been a few challenges with the role out of the Geo-op and Easy Forms but hopefully all branches will be up and running shortly and our plan to be as paper less as possible a reality. Sorted the Easy Forms issues by ditching the software and worked with Josh from Altshift to enable us to work with Geoop and get more from one software package instead of using two - much better.2019 saw further changes in our systems with the change from Geo-op to Simpro for our Job processing - quite an change in process but going forward we hope the system will give us better job profitability reporting and control over managing our workflow.

    I have been on the committee for nearly 16 years taking on the treasurer's job in 2007. The club has given me so much support with my running it is a pleasure to contribute to ensure the club is able to continue providing a valuable service to runners of all abilities. It is time for me to step back and focus on my running and other aspects of my life. I will continue to support the YMCA Marathon Club both as a member and a runner.
