    I am working with the UCM Foundation of India, Teaching and Research Center, Goa as an IT Developer.I take care of managing, optimizing and securing the Cloud Infrastructure of the company and its Linux servers and evaluating tools that help in the above. Along with this, I also contribute towards managing their Web Deployments, handle Web hosting and DNS configurations on GoDaddy, administer their Vimeo, Dropbox, Gsuite and Microsoft Office 365. I also help with video recording and live streaming using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).

    My primary work was to implement Agile Methodology in the Waterfall-heavy Mainframes Technology space and introduce new DevOps Tools and processes across HSBC throughout North America, Mexico, Europe and Asia, for improving the efficiency and productivity of our Mainframe Developer community to help them deliver better quality code in the fastest possible timeframe. While in this project, I have trained over 1000 software professionals, Project Managers, and Delivery Heads on various DevOps tools for MainframesAs part of my daily work, I was involved with • Onboarding customers, by building a rapport with them and familiarizing them with any new product that was introduced.• Ensure the customer has a positive experience with the new product• Arrange customer meetings to understand customers’ expectations from the product. • Helping customers get the most out of the product by educating them on the various tools and features by organizing regular meetings with them.• Ensuring that the customer is comfortable using the product as it assures that the customer will start using other products thus introduced.• Provide support to the customers throughout their experience of using the products, by addressing their queries, complaints and requests. • Develop deep enough knowledge of the product so that I can answer the customer queries directly, or at times, redirect the customer to the right person or the right resources from where they can get their answer.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• During 2015 - 2019, I played a significant role in HSBC's zSeries Mainframe DevOps Initiative and also helped to market HSBCs in house product (developed by my team), a unique CI solution for the mainframe, that saved HSBC a significant amount in dollars (in millions) over other conventional tools from IBM and Computer Associates available in the market. Also helped teams across the HSBC locations to adopt the tool in their projects across all HSBC locations (3000+ users Globally).

    Started working for HSBC in 2009 as a Senior Software Engineer and then went on to become a Consultant Specialist in 2013. I have worked in all phases of Software Development during my tenure, both offshore and onsite. I worked in Requirement Capture, translating it into Functional Design, then Technical Design, and Low-level Program Specs. Development and Unit Testing, System and Integration Testing, Deployment and help with User Acceptance Testing in consultation with the Business Analysts and Developers.SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• HSBC Spot Award 2012 Q2 in honor of outstanding Performance & Dedication.• HSBC Team Award 2012 Q2 for Outstanding Performance as a Team• HSBC Spot Award 2009 Q3 for providing QA Testing Support• Holds the credit of working onsite (Sheffield in the United Kingdom) for test support and delivery of a critical product• I received an outstanding rating for taking 100% ownership of the end-to-end development of the RA Application including, Requirement Capture, Impact Analysis, Functional and Technical Design, Development and Functional/Integration testing and deployment.• Due to the initiatives I took, to execute projects on time and within budgets, I received a lot of recognition and appreciation from my UK counterparts.

    I started as a Software Engineer in Mainframe Technology and worked with clients like British Telecom and AT&T (USA). SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• Helped the project to recover data worth billions of records in a matter of 2 days that would have taken a few weeks to correct, through proactive self-study and implementing a REXX based solution I was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation (FY 2008-2009) from Tech Mahindra Limited for my commitment, dedication, enthusiasm and proactive spirit in implementing the above solution that Made a Remarkable Difference to the Team.• I received a lot of appreciation from Clients and Managers for the initiatives I took to execute projects on time and within budgets with 100% end-to-end ownership. I also received special applause from the UK DBAs for my self-motivated approach to identifying a bug in the application that went unnoticed for more than three years in a critical piece of code.
