    Today we launch Phase 2 Partners. Seventeen years ago, I quit my job to start my own hedge fund along with a skilled and motivated team. We received enormous support from friends and family that took a chance and invested with us early. Today, I am doing it again and with a team that is just as hungry and motivated as the one in 2004, although I must admit this team is more qualified. Today, we have more experience, qualifications and a 17-year track record. Most important, we have again received tremendous support from friends and family that are taking a chance on us. Despite this, starting this new business is no less stressful than it was back in 2004. We will be busy with our heads down producing high quality, in depth, non-consensus research to keep producing returns. I wish Jordan, my longtime business partner, peace and happiness in his future endeavor whether that be the Hymowitz Family office or a restructured version of Philadelphia Financial.
