    Involved a collaboration between the law school and the business school, to provide invaluable commercial experience. The project promoted legal support to the start-up companies supported through the university's Careers and Entrepreneurship team. The project is supported by Irwin Mitchell LLP who provided a preparatory workshop focusing on common legal issues for start-ups such as Intellectual Property, contractual terms, and dispute resolution. We partnered with a start-up student, where they outlined their business journey including their challenges, successes and future plans. We provided a legal check, highlighting potential problems that may occur, to recommend the appropriate resources including the Irwin Mitchell start-up team.
