    As a graduate student, my primary responsibilities are research and teaching. I am working in the Nonlinear Optical Materials and Sensors Lab in the Department of Chemistry at UCF. My research focuses on the structure-property relationship of Two-Photon Circular Dichroism, specifically that of the main psychoactive component of marijuana (THC) and how TPCD can be used to detect small conformational changes of THC when it binds to its receptor site. Also, I have been a teaching assistant for the Introductory Chemistry Lab, the General Chemistry Inquiry Lab, and the Physical Chemistry Lab. In my capacity as a teaching assistant, I am primarily responsible for facilitating the labs and grading quizzes, pre- and post-lab assignments and lab reports.
