    Throughout my career as a professional footballer, I was fortunate to have been mentored by some of the most iconic names in football history, which had a positive impact on my life and has enabled me to become a mentor myself. I am currently working with students in the UK, USA and Dubai from a range of age groups and abilities by mentoring them through sports. Working one on one and in groups, all of my students have a customised programme based on KPI's.I have recently broadened my mentoring skills by working with children with learning difficulties. Interaction through sport enables children with learning difficulties to integrate into the community, encourages social interaction developing interpersonal skills and builds the foundation for their personal development journey.

    In between my voluntary work as a Mentor at St Albans, I coach Years 9, 10 and 11 boys football and have also initiated football for the girls at the school too. I am coaching the students to learn the tactical and positional elements of the game whilst improving their natural ability and technical skills.I have recently merged mentoring through coaching football by applying the discipline of being in class onto the football pitch, providing students with transferrable life skills and making discipline and team work enjoyable yet valuable lessons.

    I currently dedicate 2 days a week to St Albans Academy where I mentor students from Years 7 - 11.I work one to one with students to support them both through their education and out of school. I put together customised programmes for each student to work on their confidence and behaviour in order to enhance their performance at school as well as provide them with life skills in preparation for when they leave school.
