Are we born with an innate drive to solve problems?MITM; The Science of Early Learning, is a course, which bridges the gap between research and teaching practice. It offers early childhood educators, parents, and community the tools to understand child development and how important it is for us as well as those in our care become life-long learners. The importance of self-regulation in a child's life, the differences that are made when children have meaningful and engaged adults in their lives and more. Although the content if these learning modules are based on the most sophisticated science available, the material is presented in an accessible and highly compelling format.

    The mission of Jubilee Career Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. is to bring Art, Education and Healing to inner-city children and their families; to build the confidence and competence of children; to provide quality programming and to positively impact children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical well-being, growth and development through the arts and education.Our vision is that every child and youth have the opportunity to explore and experience the classical and cultural arts, that they use the arts as a creative practice within their lives. In addition, that our program will allow children opportunities and pathways to cultivate their skills and talents through avenues of collaborations, partnerships and strong social networks. Much of my duties and responsibilities as Executive Director included reporting to the Board of Trustees, having responsibility for implementing and enhancing Jubilee’s strategic goals, leading fund raising initiatives, developing and administrating program activities, providing leadership of the day-to-day administrative functions, and ensuring that senior management and staff are in place to meet operational needs. My objective is to be bold and creative in enhancing Jubilee’s position as a vibrant community arts center and a leading regional center for the performing and visual arts. My aim is to enhance Jubilee Career Center’s goal of establishing beautiful New England as a cultural arts destination where children and families can explore, learn, create and grow. Most of my energy is spent enhancing and creating connections with a vast variety of constituents; including leaders of the community, donors, year round and seasonal residents, artists, leaders of other artistic/cultural organizations as well as others with a vested interest in arts and cultural programs. Strategic alliances – be they formal or informal – are of continued importance.
