    While taking a break from corporate life to raise my children, I took on various leadership roles in my community and my children's schools. These activities ranged from mentoring individuals or raising money, to chairing committees and running major community events. Building on my prior consulting, coaching and recruiting activities at Bain and then mentoring individuals in my community, I decided to work as an official coach supporting individuals to recognize and achieve their goals. I attended Coach University, the leading training institute for personal and business coaching, to further develop my skills.

    Bain & Company is a global business consulting firm with offices in all major cities. Bain helps management make the big decisions: on strategy, operations, mergers & acquisitions, technology and organization.During my tenure at Bain, I managed client teams advising fortune 50 companies in areas such as marketing, competitive strategy, company organization, cost reduction, and new product introduction. I realized my ability to connect with clients, at all levels of the company, on a personal level was key to helping them in their businesses. I was able to understand their individual needs as well as their corporate needs which helped my success at Bain. Besides my consulting role, during my career at Bain I directed recruiting for college graduates, interviewed extensively, and managed the professional development process for a large portion of our Boston office. These jobs, along with mentoring new consultants, were valued aspects of my years at Bain, as they resonated with my connecting, supporting, and mentoring orientation.

    Managed all financial responsibilities of privately-held printing firm, including financial statements, budgets, and performance comparisons. Designed and installed EDP accounting and cost system. Coordinated divestiture of company resulting in significant working capital infusion as well as excellent profit for selling shareholders. Left to attend Harvard Business School.
