    My main role predominantly involves supporting the Country programmes operation in achieving its Strategic Goal while providing direct line management to the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and Reporting Coordinator (MEAL and Reporting Coordinator) and the Safeguarding, Social Inclusion and Community Feedback Coordinator.Key Responsibilities• Providing overall leadership and guidance to all aspects GOAL Sudan’s MEAL, Reporting and Programmes Development activities and the submission of high-quality donor proposals and reports;• Ensuring adequate support for all MEAL, Reporting and Programmes Development activities for all departments;• Developing capabilities of the field teams in MEAL, reporting, Complaint Response Mechanisms (CRM), Safeguarding;• Contribute to the strategic direction of GOAL Sudan’s Country programme through oversight on programme design, proposal development, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) and reporting;• Leading the MEAL team to strengthen and maintain a project monitoring and evaluation system, including an effective field reporting system that will enable measurement of progress at output and outcome levels;• Collaborating with the MEAL team to capture programme learnings and facilitate the incorporation of lessons learned into revised project designs, and new programmes;• Oversee the coordination and implementation of Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) activities led by the MEAL Coordinator;• Ensure all programme-related Serious Complaint findings are addressed and resolved with relevant programme teams with action plans defined and rolled out.

    My main role predominantly involved overseeing all aspects of program design, development & implementation including leading the operations of financial management, HR, procurement, logistics and security.Key Responsibilities• Oversaw the operations including providing strategic leadership and guidance in the implementation of program activities in Health, Nutrition, FSL, Cash intervention and WASH projects;• Provided programmatic oversight of WASH activities including infection control at 23 Health facilities in South Kordofan, Sudan;• Provided overall leadership and day-to-day direction to the 2 field coordinators managing 2 sub-areas including providing guidance to the finance, MEAL, Logs, Security and HR Managers;• Oversaw the grants management and donor reporting ensuring that all operations and project activities are within donor requirements and regulations;• Developed strategic partnerships with potential National NGO’s and engaged with the local authorities to strengthen Goal’s profile in hard-to-reach locations while expanding Goal’s program in South Kordofan;• Led mainstreaming of cross-cutting themes such as safe-guarding, Complaints Response Mechanism and Core Humanitarian Standards, gender-sensitivity among my team, that includes secondees from the Ministry of Health.Key Achievements • Collaborated with the Ministry of Health to lead the COVID-19 response including establishment of Isolation Centres;• Successfully coordinated Primary Health Care in 24 health facilities and established 2 Stabilization Centres;• Successfully negotiated for opening of 3 new bases in the Eastern Corridor of South Kordofan and established State office;• Effectively represented my organization and successfully led field visits to South Kordofan by major donors including DFID, USIAD/OFDA, ECHO, SHF, among others.
