Since January 2021 I have been the Senior Pastor of Donaghadee Elim Church. As the sole employee, I have been in charge of managing every aspect of church operations. The varied and demanding nature of this role necessitates a wide skillset that challenges in many ways. The core responsibilities of this role include: Regular pastoral visits, assisting individuals in the congregation with their spiritual formation, counselling, helping people through the toughest times including grief and losing loved ones, community outreach, preparing weekly services, writing preaches and public speaking, leading and teaching small groups, managing the leadership team in charge of the church and being in charge of casting the vision and direction of the church.Along with these core responsibilities, I am also responsible for the churches organisation and financial accounts and administration, as a registered charity these are meticulously maintained. When I took on this position, the church had no online presence. Since then I have created and maintained the church website and all social media accounts. Along with this I designed the rebrand of the church and oversaw the installation of signage and redecorating the entirety of the church premises. I am also in charge of marketing and advertising the church to those who may be interested in attending. Along with always being on call and responding to emergency situations as and when they arise.Since joining the church as Senior Pastor, I am grateful that the church has gone from strength to strength, and by God's grace has doubled in growth.

Within this role, I was responsible for a caseload of clients. Working on a one-to-one basis, I would work closely with people who wanted some extra assistance in finding employment. The nature of this role within the charity sector meant building relationships and sourcing my own clients to assist. The support offered to clients did include some holistic elements, but generally focussed on increasing employability. This was done through a wide variety of ways. From hosting and sourcing training courses and qualifications, to crafting CV's and cover letters, completing job applications and interview preparation. This was a challenging role that was made harder by widespread redundancies and lack of employees hiring because of the outbreak of COVID-19.However, despite the challenge of this time period, I am happy with my performance. Having met and exceeded KPI's set by the charity in training courses and, more importantly, finding meaningful employment for the majority of my clients.

I was a core part of a very close-knit team who handled all correspondence from consumers for all Diageo’s large portfolio of brands within both Great Britain and Ireland. The role included: analysing and responding to business proposals, sponsorship and charity requests, advertising ideas, television and filming image permissions, sending out merchandise, escalating issues when appropriate, building working relationships with stakeholders, and the overseeing of collecting product complaints to be sent across the UK for lab testing & sending liquid technical reports and reimbursement to consumers when appropriate.Due to the varied nature and wide consumer base for Diageo's portfolio of alcoholic beverages, it was necessary for this role to have an incredibly vast knowledge of the alcohol industry, nutritional information, product availability and stakeholder relations. Before this position, I started as a temporary worker in the Republic of Ireland inbound team. Processing high value keg orders for every Irish pub/club ordering Guinness, Budweiser, Hop House & Smithwicks and also cases of spirits such as Captain Morgans, Baileys, whiskies & Smirnoff. The role also included overseeing delivery, liaising with logistics, organising repairs to outlets & ensuring empty kegs are collected to be re-used.

Despite the steep learning curve of SAP and CRM software, I excelled at the role and was awarded the “Best Customer Service” award for Northern England within the branch. I was also instrumental in successfully landing a major overhaul of a new IT CRM overhaul in the office, training my colleagues in its use.The day to day job specifics included: answering many calls, responding to emails, dealing with a wide range of customer queries, problem solving and rectifying complaints, inputting large financial orders & customising and sending quotations.I also was the office point of contact for a Key Account Manager. I found the role demanding yet enjoyable.
